Focus on Your Choice of Words
The way we communicate can influence our own wellbeing, the feelings and emotions of others and our ability to create new experiences. Understanding that your words hold the power to create or destroy–love & joy–it’s a good idea to become more conscious of the words you say to others and to yourself.
I carefully monitor the self-talk that fills my mind throughout the day. Today I speak words to myself and others that uplift, inspire and support.
Set your intention
Before getting out of bed, take a few minutes to fill yourself with positive emotions by taking five deep, slow breaths. As you inhale, feel the oxygen lovingly filling your lungs. Accept and receive the air with an attitude of gratitude for your precious body.
After connecting with your body and breath, set your intention for the day by stating the energy or emotion you wish to feel today.
Finally, end the morning ritual by saying out loud today’s affirmation.
Focus on Your Self-Talk.
Your midday activity involves writing in your journal. This time you will make a list of three to five things you have denied yourself or held yourself back from. Think about the places you’ve wanted to visit, people you wanted to talk to or experiences you wanted to try, that you didn’t do based on a voice in your head telling you it wasn’t possible.
See if you can find a common phrase or set of mental concepts that have rattled around your mind before that kept you hemmed in, playing small. How do they sound to you now? After the work you’ve done so far, can you see a bit more clearly how these voices are false? As you write down these phrases or outdated beliefs, write their opposite. Write your own affirmations of what is truly possible for you now.
Remember to tune into the feelings that arise. Breathe into them, exhale them and begin to visualize all of the things you are now committed to explore in life, business or love if as you embrace and live from your most authentic self.
Imagine Your Sensual Future
Tonight you will take five to ten minutes to do deep breathing as your transition from workday to rest time. No erotic literature tonight. Instead, this evening you will explore what it would be like to fully acknowledge your deepest desires and interests.
Continuing from the midday activity make a list of how your life would be different if you were following your passion, intuition or wishes for self-exploration. Visualize and fantasize about what life would be like as you continue to embrace your right to self-expression, your right to self-pleasure and your desire for fun or bliss.
Write down your future vision for the ways life will be different as you give yourself permission to be truly, authentically you.
As you fall asleep tonight, imagine that you are falling asleep as the fully empowered women from the future vision you wrote. If there is anything different in your future vision such as the partner in bed with you, the place you live or the things you see, imagine that you are already living in that reality as you drift into dreamland.
