Focus on Inspired Vision

Oftentimes we feel so beat down and battered by life that we lose sight of an inspiring vision of a happy, healthy future. If you’ve lost confidence in your own ability to manifest joy and wellbeing, it may be time to tune back into a vision that truly inspires you to go beyond the negative impressions rattling around in your mind.

I hold the highest vision of who I desire to become. Today I focus on what I have to give, not what I’ve forgotten or fallen short in.

Morning Ritual

Morning Affirmation (Set Your Intention)
Music: “Folk Acoustic and Strings” by Seastock

Set your intention

Before getting out of bed, take a few minutes to fill yourself with positive emotions by taking five deep, slow breaths. As you inhale, feel the oxygen lovingly filling your lungs. Accept and receive the air with an attitude of gratitude for your precious body.

After connecting with your body and breath, set your intention for the day by stating the energy or emotion you wish to feel today.

Finally, end the morning ritual by saying out loud today’s affirmation.

Midday Ritual

Midday Ritual (Focus on Your Sense of Sight)
Music:  “Folk Acoustic and Strings” by Seastock

Focus on Your Sense of Sight.

Take a break around lunchtime to become quiet, still and centered for a few minutes. Take five deep cleansing breaths, once again connecting with your body, filling your lungs with life-giving oxygen. Actually sense and feel gratitude for your lungs’ ability to welcome the oxygen and feel grateful for your heart pumping the oxygen-rich blood throughout your beautiful body.

This afternoon go someplace that you are very familiar with. Take a few moments to really see, as if for the first time or from the eyes of a child, what is there. Take in the colors, shapes and textures of your surroundings. What catches your eye first? What are you able to see about this well-known place that now seems new to you?

Evening Ritual

Evening Ritual (Develop Inner Sight)
Music: “Folk Acoustic and Strings” by Seastock

Developing Inner Sight.

Tonight you will take five to ten minutes to do deep breathing as your transition from workday to rest time. Then spend 15 or more minutes reading erotic literature.

This evening your special activity is based on inner sight. Look at your environment, the neighborhood you live in, the furniture in your home, the way you’ve decorated your living space. As you take in these sights be aware of how your choices reflect the sense of who you are. How does this space reflect your style and your preference for colors or textures that make you feel safe and comfortable? Take a few minutes to realize and appreciate how your living space is an extension of the inner you.

For at least five minutes, write in your journal what you noticed with doing each of the rituals. How did it feel to acknowledge the presence and significance of your inner being or soul? Were you able to tune into your body again during the midday breathing session? Write down the sights you observed in the familiar surroundings and whether you saw anything new. Take any additional notes to become more in tune and aware of all of your inner emotions, sensations and feelings today.
